Will 'Apple Pay' Tip the Scales on Mobile Payments? It's Complicated
Wed Sep 10, 2014
What is the benefit to the consumer to use mobile payments? Credit Cards are really quick, easy to carry and just as secure. We still need cash sometimes so we still have to carry a wallet anyway. I don't see this moving very fast.
Solvents May Raise Breast Cancer Risk For Some, Study Finds
Fri May 30, 2014
It bothers me that this study lumps together all "solvents" which is a huge class of chemicals some of which are known carcinogens like benzene but most are probably not. Also, why are lab techs getting breast cancer but production workers are not? Are they wearing PPE?

'It's degrading': Bankrupt New England mill town offers Detroit a bleak preview

I've never really understood the logic of pensions, not having that option myself. The only retirement savings I have is what I put into my 401K. A pension sounds nice but obviously you can't rely on it to be there when you need it.
